Minimalist is the new black, or white or pink whatever we’re at these days.
Meghan graced us with a beautiful simple gown pure white slightly off the shoulder boat neck with a structured bodice and three quarter length sleeves, simply yet elegant design. The gown was designed by Claire Waight Keller, the first female artistic director at Givenchy fashion house.
The pure white dress was made of double bonded silk cady, cushioned by an under skirt in triple silk organza.
The veil was where the sneaky embelishments were found. A 5 metre silk veil featuring floral detail which representes all 53 countries of the commonwealth, the embroidered flower design also featured Mehgan’s favourite flowers wintersweet and california poppy.
